Baby Bib Care and Washing

All Baby Chaleco items are machine wash, tumble dry.

As with all dirty baby clothes, it's best to wash your Baby Chaleco as soon as possible after removal. But I know that parents are busy and sometimes the laundry just has to wait. That's okay.

If your baby gets staining food on it like spaghetti or blueberries - just use a little stain stick before washing and wash as soon as you can. The fabrics release stains easily.

For garments that have been sitting with spit-up, food and other spills on them in the laundry bag -- and are starting to smell a little ripe -- it's okay to throw a few tablespoons of bleach in to get rid of smells. Just add the bleach after the washer is full of water, and before adding the clothes to minimize fading.

Note: FTC guidelines require labeling in accordance with the fabric manufacturer’s instructions.  Accordingly, the care label instructions on Baby Chaleco garments say machine wash cold and tumble dry low.

But actually, all the fabrics have been tested with repeated washing and drying. Use cold wash for dark colors at first, but after that it's fine to machine wash and dry everything with like colors on warm.
