What is a Baby Chaleco?

Baby Chaleco™ Performance Wear is a revolutionary new type of soakproof garment designed to keep babies dry and comfortable all day. Baby Chaleco Costs Less to Use

Bibs often come in multi-packs, some in ten! Our products don't because you won't need ten, plus you won't need to buy all those extra baby clothes or do all that extra laundry. If you add up the cost of the extra wardrobing, not to mention detergent, water and electricity, a Baby Chaleco practically pays for itself. Plus it’s far more convenient and looks great.

Where are the products made?

Currently, the entire collection is made in a family-owned factory right near our offices in Washington State. This not only ensures quality, and fair working conditions too. Unfortunately, woven terry velour is no longer manufactured in the United States, so we import many of our fabrics. But whenever possible we strive to minimize the distance our product components travel to reduce our carbon impact on the environment.

Do you make any organic versions of your products?

Corporate philosophy

Our goal is to make practical, beautiful products that families will find genuinely useful. In all our decisions we try to consider our impact on the environment and our community as we strive to achieve this goal. The global nature of the economy makes it difficult to source materials locally, but whenever possible we look for vendors and producers close to our Washington offices.

We choose to use local talent, employing graphic artists, designers, web developers, sample makers and sewers right here in the Seattle area, despite the cost pressure to outsource these jobs overseas. To us, being part of the community means more than just giving after-profit donations.

As a company that makes products aimed at families, we strive to offer flexible hours and part-time options. We know it’s tough for working families to balance it all, so we make a special effort to work around family appointments and personal commitments, while still delivering outstanding service to our customers.

When it comes to the planet we believe that the little things do add up, so as a rule we recycle everything we can, and use the absolute minimum amount of packaging. If you get a box or package from us, it won't be fancy and there's a good chance it 's been used once or twice before, and we think that's OK.
